ATID offers weekly classes in Tanach, Halacha, and Machshava with many of your favorite teachers. Our teachers also serve as mentors, providing our students with one-on-one meetings, Shabbat invitations, and personal guidance in career plans, dating, and life.
Each Rosh Chodesh, we offer fun workshops and activities plus guest Shiurim in order to help you build a community of like-minded friends. Workshops may include, chocolate making, glass etching, improv workshop, paint night, and more!
Exploring your favorite places can be more difficult when you're on your own. With ATID, you can continue strengthening your bond with the land! Trips may include Chevron, Kever Rachel, Tour of the Old City, Miztpe Yericho Jeeping, and more!
Director
Zemira Ozarowski has been in the field of Jewish education for over two decades. She currently serves as Director of Women’s Programming at the OU Israel Center. In that capacity, aside from teaching, she runs many women’s learning programs including yimei iyun, mother-daughter events, the ATID and NextGen programs, a Bat Mitzvah program and more. Zemira holds a master’s degree from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and is a certified Yoetzet Halacha. Zemira lives with her husband and children in Mitzpe Yericho.
Operations Manager
Zimra is originally from Atlanta Georgia and made aliyah on her own after high school. She holds a BA in Business Management and a certificate in Therapeutic Counseling. She is passionate about community work and currently runs the OU's Hebrew on the GO program for young families and the Weekly Volunteer Program. She also assists Zemira helping out with all the womens programming.
Miriam Tannenbaum was born and raised in NY but she and her family made Aliyah in summer 2018, fulfilling a life-long dream. She eagerly joined the Midreshet Tehillah faculty, where she has been teaching ever since. Additionally, she teaches part time in Oryah Seminary. She has also been involved in opening a new high school for girls in Beit Shemesh, where she served as the Menahelet. Miriam is married to R’ Meir Tannenbaum and is a mother to five children She loves learning, running marathons and coffee and is passionate about the Torah education of young women.
Atara Starr is a passionate Jewish educator currently working full time in Midreshet Harova as a teacher and mashgicha. Atara teaches Tanach, Chassidut and Jewish Philosophy. One of the highlights of her time in Harova is joining the girls for their annual trip to Poland where her passion for Chassidut and Jewish History come alive. Atara is originally from New York where she studied Tanach and Jewish History in Stern and earned her Masters degree in Azrieli in Jewish Education. After making Aliyah in 2011 she taught in numerous seminaries as well as working on projects in curriculum building before joining the Harova faculty in 2016. She lives in Mitzpe Yericho with her husband and four delicious children.
Mrs. Dina Blank is an experienced educator who serves as the Executive Director of Machon Maayan and teaches several courses there and in Sha'alvim for Women. Dina masterfully blends her love for Torah, her keen intellect, and her sense of humor as she challenges her students intellectually and encourages them to grow in their religious observance and commitment. Dina lives in Beit Shemesh with her husband and four children.
Mrs. Shoshana Solomyak is originally from Livingston, New Jersey. She completed her BA in Judaic Studies at Stern College and her MA in Education at Azrieli Graduate School for Jewish Education before making Aliyah to Israel. Since making Aliyah, she has been living in Jerusalem, currently in the Katamon neighborhood. Shoshana works as the Activities Coordinator at Sha'alvim for Women and as a teacher at Machon Ma'ayan. Additionally, she is the Director of an NCSY summer program, NCSY LEAD, which brings teens to a youth village in Afula to volunteer for the summer.
